because it's one of the only fantasy films of my entire life that i think was beyond great - but TDC without Henson...well...i'm not so anxious about it if it's true.

maybe if Gilliam stepped on to helm the project...but the threat of rampant CGI just makes my skin crawl.

thoughts?

Chances are they won't pursue Gilliam. They'll want someone close to them in the company, someone who has been associated with them for a time. Keeps the ideas close.

Hadn't even thought of him. Possible choice. He did co-direct the first one with Henson and there's nothing keeping him busy right now.
