Anyone interested in renting/buying any of these?

Aside from Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses, I haven't seen any of this week's releases. I'm interested in seeing Amen, He Loves Me He Loves Me Not, Maryam, the Once Upon a Time In China trilogy, Paper Moon, Targets, and This Is Not a Love Song. Any thoughts of any of these? Any movies among those released this week any of you would specifically recommend?

Regarding the one I have seen: The villains in House of 1000 Corpses are a hoot (especially Sid Haig and Sheri Moon), but the film isn't much more than a psychedelic music-video cartoon version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Seriously lacking in the scares department, it's campy and kinda fun, but I could never defend it as good filmmaking. I see no need to revisit it on DVD.

Dude, you have two Santo movies to choose from and you're even asking that question?

Pete - And I actually kinda think "ffolkes" was underrated

How can you pass up the landmark release of the week, the Rick Springfield opus, "Hard to Hold"?

Even as "el borracho," I'd take El Santo in a steel cage deathmatch against the likes of Eric Campos.

And yes, I realize he's dead.

And like clockwork, my 14-year old sister has made it known that she wants the "Lizzie McGuire Movie" DVD. God must really be mad at me this week.

Never mind this crap. Where the hell is the two disc set for "Cool as Ice"?

"Drop the zero and get with the hero!"

I think we need to start one of those oh-so-effective internet petitions.

Boogeyman 2 [DC] (Image, 1983)

If you just want to see one of the new releases go for this. You won´t believe your eyes. The original BoogeyMan was a little known slasher-flick in typical eighties fashion - but this sequels tops everything.

I seldom saw such a dumb movie, never watched performances so uninspired, and i probably will never see any movie wich is is soo bad. The highlights are the kills - especially one with an electric toothbrush and the only scenes coming close to something which you can call a movie at all are completly taken from the first movie and are presented either as memories or nightmares.

If you ever wanted to see a flick in wich nothing at all has any worth try this, but wait until you find it budgetet at about 3 $. :)

Ohh btw. the score is great, but it´s also the same as in Part 1...
