I really have to tip my hat to the recent interview with Len Wiseman. I know many out there are ready on the trigger to shoot 'Underworld' down, but I would suggest that you read the interview before you load up the guns. Wiseman's views on CG are articulate, informed, and from a movie fan point-of-view.

A lot of movie fans were deeply disappionted in Lucas for creating a CG character and that disappointment turned into mouth-foaming anger when the character appeared on the big screen. Well, it's good to know that a new filmmaker has the right balance in mind when approaching this new technology. CG is a tool and should be used as such. Frankly, I'm just put off when there is just too much of it going on in a film. I don't mind the rubber suits as long as they look realistic; the Cantina scene looked real to me, 'American Werewolf in London' looked real to me, Jar-Jar is a cartoon.

Wiseman has some great things to say on the subject and I hope that others follow with this same view in mind.
