Ton 5 Scariest/Disturbing Scenes

Mine would be:

1. City of the Dead- a father drills a teenage boy's head clean through. No zombies involved here just a father protecting his daughter from a guy he thought was dangerous. The guy was just hiding in their garage.

2. The Thing- The Blood testing scene. Just imagine being tied up right next to that alien as its flipping out trying to break free of the ropes.

3. Damien: Omen 2(I think)- Apparently a man is in the rafters of a tv studio intent on killing Damien. He is tripped and swinging upside down by his feet. He swings into a bunch of flamable stuff and is on fire unable to get lose.

4. Damien: Omen 2(again not certain)- A train car impales a man from behind and slams him into the other parked train car and the 2 lock together inside the man's guts.

5. Alien- The ending when Ripley is going to her stasis container and the alien is inside a tight nook and reaches out for her.

Lucio Fulci flicks in general r disturbing of course. Other stuff I recall is from the film The Beyond where the mother's face is burning away because somehow a jar of acid tipped over. And the eye gouging in the bathroom with a nail on the wall.

(Im sure you guys will remind me of a bunch I missed so post away. And correct me if I am wrong about the 2 Damien scenes. I know I really havent scene the Omen series in its entirety. )

1. DEEP RED: When the Parapsychologist kills the nasty wind up toy, but is ambushed by the killer who then proceeds to chip out the Doc's teeth by banging his head against everything.

2. PSYCHO: The shower scene. Natch.

3. PSYCHO: The death of Arbogast the Private Eye.

4. DEEP RED: The head boiling scene.

5. SILENCE OF THE LAMBS: When Hannibal Lecter sits up and peels off the policeman's face. shudder

Night Of The Living Dead -When the little zombie girl kills her father in the basement with the trowel. A scene very much inspired by Psycho where due to the lighting and editing you think it is much more graphic than it actually is.

Once Upon A Time In The West -One by one the frontier family get picked off at long range by...HENRY FONDA!!!

Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory -"There's no earthly way of knowing/which direction they are going/There's no knowing where they're rowing/or which way the river's flowing/Not a speck of light is showing/so the danger must be growing/For the rowers keep on rowing/And they're certainly not showing/any signs that they are slowing!"

Deliverance -John Voight's nightmare at the end.

4. "Pulp Fiction" - the entirety of Marcellus' rape scene

5. "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" (the classic, not the half-assed, useless remake)
