I know I will be there opening night. It looks very "Royal"-ish. I love Wes Anderson and this movie looks like it won't disappoint.

The animation by Henry Selick (sp?) looks awesome too.

Did you enjoy The Royal Tenenbaums? I found it boring. Hackman seemed like the only lively character.

I loved Royal. But, perhaps it is because I didn't see it as a comedy. Sure, it had funny moments. The interaction with the family and the events they went through really grabbed me. That film was amongst my top five of 2001. Even the acting, Ben Stiller.

That scene where he tells Royal that it was a rough year for him...the finest moment in Stiller's career. Period.

Willem DaFoe as a long suffering, German, cabin boy?

How could you not win?!

Yeah, but that didn't save Spiderman.

Seriously though, he looks awesome in this movie, as does the movie itself. I am very excited for this, being the lackluster cinema year it has been so far.

Spiderman is a different story. Ive been a fan of Spidey since the 80s. Dafoe was the added bonus. Unfortunately he had to wear that costume.

...speak that horrific dialog, act that horrific way, utilize terrible effects, and fight a really boring fight sequence.

It was quite entertaining, but I do agree it could use some changes.
