By the by.... While reading the article about todays b movies, I couldn`t take my eyes off of the Jaws poster.
Is that the coolest art ever or what? The girl swimming and right under her, from the dark, this thing is coming up and you know she is just 2 seconds away from getting eaten.
I do believe that is my favorite potser.
Anyone have any favorites?

I'm rather fond of the artwork by Ralph Steadman for "Withnail and I".

"Jaws" totally rules though - I remember being completely terrified and alternately drawn toward the artwork as a child.

I've got a teaser poster for 'Pulp Fiction' that I'm hanging on to. You know, I still get so awe-struck in the theater looking up at the posters for the new films that are "coming soon." I find myself looking up at some of them like they're in an art gallery. The film could be the worst thing ever made but there's something about seeing that crisp new poster you haven't yet seen and marveling at the art before you look down to see who's involved with the film.

I'd rather take a Sherwood across the sins than sit through Daredevil again but I'd definitely be willing to take said Sherwood across said shins to get myself one of those big ass* Elektra banners that were part of the DD theater release promotion.

*not that Elektra or Jennifer Garner have a big ass just that the promo banners were really big. If they were asses then they would be big asses, big ass big asses, but they are in fact big ass banners.

Speaking of seeing "coming soon" posters, they can be as misleading as trailers.

I remember thinking how excited I was seeing the poster for the remake of "Planet of the Apes" with Michael Clarke Duncan as Attar (shades of Mark Lenard's Urko from the cheesy TV series or Claude Akins from "Battle For.." - who were both quite awesome for me as a young'n) because it looked so cool.

Then you find out that the poster was the shit, but unfortunately, so was the wank-off movie by goth-boy Burton...

Brutal...

I like the "Underworld" poster, but I don't have high hopes for the movie itself.
