Pete wrote a nice review on The Cinderella Story.
Review (http://www.filmthreat.com/Reviews.asp?Id=6276)
i especially love the part where he says, "Screenwriters need to quit constantly lying to kids about how they can be or do anything they want as long as they believe in themselves."
i think adults in general need to stop telling children, "you can do anything as long as you set your mind to it."
it aint true.
if adults really meant to say that it's the determination or desire or drive that contributes to success, well theyve said it all wrong.
but even then, some people actually meet more/better success when they dont or theyve stopped driving towards a specific achievement.
i wont be seeing the movie.
